I have been here before (remember the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research), so I went back and had a look now at the Rosetta space probe, which performed a detailed study of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko (67P) during 2014.
We took a day trip to close-by Ebergötzen to see the European bread museum and the Wilhelm Busch Mill. Do you know Wilhelm Bush and his famous publication Max and Moritz? The bread museum displays the history of grain farming in Europe, processing of grain, milling, baking of bread, and bread in art. We also walked the gardens that had functioning re-constructed old ovens, a windmill and a watermill, bread wagons, etc.
We also hiked up the Hainberg to the 31m high Bismarck Tower, which was built as a mark of respect to the chancellor in 1896. Unfortunatly it was closed and we could not enjoy the view over the city.
Then it was time to say goodbye and move on to …wait for it…
With Love Stompie!
